I am one of the first people our new patients meet, as I manage the new patient process from the initial call through enrollment and treatment planning. I enjoy meeting patients of all ages and showing them how beautiful we can make their smiles through the advanced technology Dr. Walker has incorporated into our office. Our team works really well together each and every day, and we always make time to have a little fun!
I’m a California native, originally from Huntington Beach. I am married to my husband of 23 years and reside with him and my two puppies, Roady and Bella. I enjoy donating my time to wounded veterans through Operation Amped, and surfing with autistic children through Waves of Impact.
Registered Dental Assistant
I began my dental career in 1965 in Singapore, where I pioneered the Dental Health Education Program to educate the teachers and school population. I moved to the Bay Area in 1989 and have been in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics ever since. At Dr. Walker’s office, I am responsible for assisting during clinical procedures and providing oral hygiene education. It is very satisfying to be able to contribute to giving patients a beautiful and confident smile.
I am so proud of my three successful children: a scientist, a doctor, and an actress. My free time is spent gardening, sewing, and helping with my grandkids on the weekends. I have also been with the Flying Doctors for 15 years providing dental treatment to underserved populations.
I work alongside Dr. Walker providing patient care, taking X-rays and impressions, and instructing patients how to care for their braces and appliances. Our patients are such interesting people—I love learning all about their lives and watching them change throughout their treatment. Even the shyest kids end up confident in their smiles!
At home, I have two boys, Andrew and Esaias. I spend all my free time with my family. We love football, the beach, and BBQs!
I help patients with the financial aspects of their treatment, including setting up payment plans and working with insurance. The best part of my job is that I get to interact with patients all day. It’s so fun to meet new people, and see all the happy, smiling faces in our office. Everyone in this office—from our team members to our patients and their families—has so much fun in this office. We all work hard to make everyone feel comfortable.
I was born and raised on the East Coast. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree, I moved to California in 2014 with my fiancé and two cats, Ziggy and Wilson. I’m getting married in October of 2016 in Delaware on the beach. I’ve known my fiancé since third grade—we grew up in the same neighborhood, lost touch, reconnected in 2011, and have been together ever since!
